What Makes Us Want to Buy Something?

     Today, thanks to Capitalism, everybody wants to buy everything. So, how? After World War 2, Capitalism developed and companies wanted to sell something. They advertised their own products. Customers also answered this supply. There are two factors that affect us like jealousy and effective marketing.

     Thanks to the jealousy, modern people became shopping robots. For example, when they see a dress on other person’s body, they want to buy it. Mankind’s gene has envy. They say ‘Why do not I have my friend’s skirt or trousers?’ Nowadays, smart phones became very dangerous for people. While smart phones develop, people’s wants are developing at the same speed. People think ‘How can I seem better and cooler?’  To sum up, we should solve this jealousy problem.

     The companies are racing each other. Whoever sells more product, it wins this race. Therefore, the companies work for making an effective marketing because a good and effective marketing builds to people of crazy shopping. However, the companies must do this method secretly. On the other hand, the effective marketing affect supply and demand relationship. Namely, if the more effective marketing is done, the demand will increase.

     In conclusion, supply and demand relationship has two factors: the jealousy and effective marketing. If people continue to shop at the same rate, they will became a shopping robot. My advice is people must not buy unnecessary things for their own good.
